This Knowledge Base article provides a step-by-step guide on creating a personal or private playlist directly within Canvas.
Step 1: Access the Media Gallery
- Within your desired Canvas course, navigate to the Media Gallery through the course navigation menu.
Step 2: Initiate Playlist Creation
- Find and click on the Channel Actions menu, often symbolized by three dots or a similar icon, located at the top right of the Media Gallery page.
- From the dropdown options, select Create Channel Playlist.
Step 3: Configure Your Playlist
- In the creation window, input a title for your new playlist. (You also have the option to add optional description and tags for better organization.)
Step 4: Add Videos to Your Playlist
- After naming your playlist, you will be able to add videos from your available media. This can be done by selecting or dragging the desired videos into the playlist configuration area.
Step 5: Organize Your Playlist
- With your videos added, you can arrange them in your preferred order. This is typically accomplished by dragging the video thumbnails to rearrange them into the sequence you desire.
Step 6: Save Your Playlist
- Confirm that all videos are correctly ordered and finalize your playlist by saving it.
- Click Go to Media Gallery when you're satisfied with the ordering and title of your playlist.
