How to Embed a Kaltura Playlist in Canvas

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Desired Canvas Content Area

   • Choose the area in your Canvas course where you wish to embed the Kaltura playlist. This can be a Page, an Assignment description, a Discussion post, etc.

2. Access the Rich Content Editor (RCE)

   • Once in the desired content area, click to edit or create a new item to access the Rich Content Editor.

3. Open the Apps Tool in the RCE

   1. In the RCE toolbar, click on the Apps icon (it may look like a plug).
      • 

   2. If "Embed Kaltura Media" is not visible, click "View All"

      • From the Apps popup, choose the option to embed Kaltura Media. This action will open your Kaltura Media library.

4. Find and Embed Your Playlist

   • Select "Media Gallery Playlists" within your Kaltura Media library
   • Locate the playlist you wish to embed.
   • Click on the "Embed" button next to the desired playlist.

5. Save Your Changes

   • After embedding the playlist, save your changes to the content item. This will make the embedded playlist viewable within the content area you've selected.
